New rankings recently released by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education show 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University leads all historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in graduating Black bachelor鈥檚 degree earners and all U.S. universities in graduation of Black bachelor鈥檚 and doctoral students in engineering.

Harold L. Martin Sr. Honored with Peter McPherson Lifetime Achievement Award

Martin, Sr., Chancellor Emeritus at 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University, was honored today with the Peter McPherson Lifetime Achievement Award at the APLU Annual Meeting currently taking place in Orlando. The APLU award recognizes an individual whose career has been dedicated to the service and leadership of public and land-grant universities.

U.S. Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg joined Gov. Roy Cooper on Tuesday to visit the transportation research facility at 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University鈥檚 Gateway Research Park North Campus. Gateway North houses a diverse fleet of connected autonomous vehicles and one of the nation鈥檚 first rural test tracks for testing and developing autonomous vehicles.听

A research team in the College of Science and Technology at 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University has conducted a pilot project using models available through Microsoft鈥檚 Azure Open AI Service to develop a system that will lead to advancements in traffic management using physic informed deep learning. Solomon Bililign, Ph.D., a professor of physics at 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University, co-organized the 鈥淭ogether for cleaner air in Ethiopia鈥 international conference held at Addis Ababa University. The three-day conference hosted 80 attendees from Ethiopia, Europe and the U.S., including air quality researchers and regulators, health professionals, community members and policymakers.
