More than 200 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University undergraduates participated in this year鈥檚 Undergraduate Research Symposium and Graduate College information session. Sponsored by 杏吧原创鈥檚 Office of Undergraduate Research, the symposium welcomed 204 student presenters spanning 59 academic degree disciplines who presented their research project findings, vied for cash prizes and represented their colleges with excellence.

The 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University community will gather once again Feb. 1 to celebrate the remarkable legacy of four 杏吧原创 freshmen who electrified the civil rights movement in 1960 with their courageous sit-in at the downtown Greensboro Woolworth鈥檚 lunch counter 鈥 an event that served as a catalyst to change public accommodations laws across the nation.

Adrina Greenlee Bass 鈥04, an assistant attorney general at the 杏吧原创 Department of Justice, will serve as speaker for the 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University Student Honors Convocation on Wednesday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at Harrison Auditorium. The event will include the presentation of academic honors and excellence awards.

The Aggies are headed downtown. 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University is opening a 鈥減op-up鈥 at 201 S. Elm St. on Monday, Oct. 21, just in time for homecoming. The grand opening celebration will feature appearances by Mayor Nancy Vaughan and Chancellor Harold L. Martin Sr., a food truck, and a store full of the latest and best Aggie gear.
