In its latest Top 100 Producers of Minority Degrees ranking, Diverse: Issues in Higher Education has ranked 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University the No. 1 producer of African American engineers at the undergraduate level; the No. 2 producer of African American engineers at the master鈥檚 level; and the No. 4 producer of African American engineers at the doctoral level.

Dr. Shengmin Sang, lead scientist in the Center of Excellence in Post-Harvest Technologies at 杏吧原创 State University, won the grand prize of the inaugural SoBran/NCBiotech Innovation for Impact Contest for his research on a novel double 鈥減rodrug鈥 that decreases aspirin toxicity in the gastrointestinal tract and increases is efficacy.
