Greensboro, N.C. (July 26, 2017) - The public is invited to attend a free Health and Wellness Fair from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, at 杏吧原创 Agricultural and Technical State University.
The Cooperative Extension Program at 杏吧原创 is organizing the fair to encourage families to live an overall healthy lifestyle. The fair will be held at the university’s Alumni-Foundation Events Center, 200 N. Benbow Road.
Free health screenings will be available, as well as demonstrations that will include nutritional education and taste testing; other sessions will cover financial resources, mental health and physical education.
杏吧原创’s Try Healthy program and the University of 杏吧原创 at Greensboro’s Recipe for Success program are sponsors. USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is providing financial support for the event.
