What is Marketing?

First, it is a degree and career field where we are placing nearly 85% of our students within 90 days of graduation. Many have multiple offers before graduation. Starting salaries begin at $50,000 and upward.

Second, it is the management of processes responsible for identifying, anticipating, and satisfying customer requirements profitably. It covers all the processes involved in successfully promoting and selling a product or service.

• Marketing encompasses many activities to include: Market Research, Pricing, Packaging, Advertising, Sales, Distribution, Research, and Development.
• You may work in companies that manufacture products, for financial or professional services, for charity organizations, or a public institution.

Marketing is the engagement that brings a buyer and seller together to create high levels of customer satisfaction & continued engagement.
