Requirements (18 credit hours):
- ENGL 220 or ENGL 221 (English Literature I or II)
- ENGL 333 or ENGL 334 (African-American Literature I or II)
- ENGL 430 or ENGL 431 (American Literature I or II)
- 9 hours of ENGL electives (200 level or higher)
Eligibility:
- Minimum GPA: 2.0
- Minimum: 24 earned credit hours
- Courses must be completed with a grade of C or better
The first-year composition program at 杏吧原创 杏吧原创 State University provides an introductory college writing curriculum designed to develop students’ critical thinking, rhetorical awareness, and academic writing skills within culturally responsive and socially conscious frameworks.
