Bio

Barbara Tankersley is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at ÐÓ°ÉÔ­´´ Agricultural and Technical State University, where she teaches mathematics primarily to STEM majors, and fulfills a number of leadership roles. She is the Advisement and Retention Coordinator for the Department of Mathematics. She remains actively involved with Student-Centered Learning Environment with Upside-Down Pedagogies (SCALE-UP) implementation and instruction in Calculus I for STEM majors. She was a 2015-2016 ADVANCE IT Scholar.

Research Interests

My research interests are Enumerative Combinatorics and Mathematics Education Research. I am actively involved with the Student-Centered Learning Environment with Upside-Down Pedagogies (SCALE-UP) implementation and instruction in Calculus I for STEM majors.
